Angelic and awe inspiring would best describe the Deva wizard, Kayah. Her purple-blue skin glows with magical power. She doesn’t seem to walk but merely glide on the air. Kayah usually wears elegant purple or white robes with elaborate golden armor.
Like all devas, Kayah began life as an Angel. She wished to walk as a mortal, thus she was reborn into a Deva. Kayah has lived many lives but she has lived the current life the longest…or at least that’s what she remembers.
Kayah is a high ranking member of The Ko’yas Collective. She and several beings of the Astral Sea have taken upon themselves to monitor and watch over the different planes. Kayah and her friend Kaon discovered a small planetoid being destroyed by some strange machine. The two devas followed the source back to Allred where they determined that whatever is causing disturbances in the Astral Sea, is originating on Andrelaous. Investigating the goings on in Allred, Kayah came across a man named Leotin Tarmikos. Something about the man seemed odd to Kayah. He travelled with 2 guards but he seemed to be more heavily armored than they were. One night, while all three were asleep, Kayah looked into Leotin’s bag and found alchemical reagents, holy symbols, a skull, and other strange artifacts. One such artifacts, Kayah recognized as part of the machine she and Kaon had found.
Reading through the notes Kayah found out that Leotin had planned on turning himself into a Black Dragonborn. Knowing that this was very dangerous, and a very rare ritual, Kayah turned to Kaon for help. Together, the two devas forced fate’s hand and Leotin’s ritual didn’t go as expected. Instead of an evil black dragonborn the man was turned into a copper dragonborn, beset on worshiping Bahamut.
Afterwards, Kayah went to Winterhaven, where she would eventually meet back up with the very dragonborn she had just helped create. Kayah would stay with the dragonborn and eventually meet up with new allies and begin to uncover the truth behind Leotin Tarmikos and the disturbance in the Astral Sea.
